Aromatic/Sand Ginger

Kaempferia galangal L. (Zingiberaceae), also known as aromatic ginger, is used in food and cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and maquillage materials, as well as in traditional Asian medicine.  It contains ethyl p-methoxycinnamate as the main component, which is used as an anticancer, antimicrobial, skin protector, and whitening and nematicidal agent. Aromatic ginger has a longstanding use in Asian traditional medicine as an antimicrobial, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, wound healing, and anti-influenza agent and for curing skin, pain, rheumatic, digestive, and respiratory disorders. Kencur is a herbaceous plant that has very fragrant rhizomes (rhizome). The various benefits and benefits of kencur actually lie in almost every part of it. Kencur often used as a raw material for making healthy "Jamu" drinks. While a medicinal plant, kencur is also known as a medicine for treating stomach ulcers, inflammation of the ears, influenza in infants, colds, headaches, coughs, diarrhea, facilitating menstruation, sore eyes, sprains, and relieving fatigue.
